Shynika's Daily Dance Tips: March 11, 2006
How to pick the right instructional DVD- There a few important tips you need to know that will save you a lot of money, and time. * Purchase a DVD instead of VHS. The quality is better and you can easily select the chapter you want to practice. * Read the summary on the back! See if the instructor lists their credentials. Look them up on the net or go to the website they've provided to learn about what style and technique they specialize in. Also check how LONG the DVD is. You want to buy a video that offers at least a full hour workout! * Check out recommendations by other dancers on message boards/forums where videos are discussed. * Ask the salesclerk if the items is a commonly purchased product. (If the DVD is almost always out of stock, it is probably a good one!)
